Platinum-selling superstars P.O.D. are releasing “OUTBREAK,” one of their hardest tracks to date, and are joining forces with Norma Jean frontman Cory Brandan to dive into the zombie apocalypse. You can watch the nerve-wracking video HERE.
“OUTBREAK” was produced by Grammy-winning producer Will Yip (Turnstile, Code Orange, Circa Survive) and is the band’s first new song since the release of VERITAS in 2024. P.O.D. delivers maximum impact with this track. The idea to bring Norma Jean’s powerful singer on board came about during their joint U.S. tour in 2024.
“We’ve known the band and its members for a while, but that was the first time we toured together and really had the chance to get to know each other better on a friendly basis,” explains Sonny Sandoval.
“This is possibly one of the hardest-hitting songs P.O.D. has ever written, so we wanted to feature a guest vocalist who reflects that. Cory’s voice and tone bring a unique intensity and presence that immediately captivates you. Our voices together create a powerful energy that does justice to the song’s power.”
