Guitar wizard Michael Schenker just announced a new album. ‘Universal’ is the title of the upcoming longplayer of Michael Schenker Group (MSG). The release of ‘Universal’ is scheduled for May 27th and the album will come via Atomic Fire Records.
‘Universal’ also features a lot of guest appearances. Michael Kiske (Helloween) and Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), keyboarder Steve Mann (Lionheart), the drummers Simon Phillips (Toto, The Who), Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Foreigner), Bobby Rondinelli (Rainbow) und Bodo Schopf (Eloy), as well as bassists Bob Daisley (Black Sabbath), Barry Sparks (Malmsteen, Dokken) and Barend Courbois (Blind Guardian, Zakk Wylde), they all added their piece to an album that includes Ronnie Romero as main singer.
