GHOST unveiled details of “2 Big to Rig”

What comes next when your feature film debut becomes the highest-grossing hard rock cinema event in U.S. history and also produces a No. 1 soundtrack album? Ghost raise the bar once again with 2 Big To Rig.

The band’s second collaboration with LUF Kino was filmed on 16mm during two completely sold-out performances at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. Captured over two unforgettable nights in September 2025, the film places viewers right in the middle of the dark, immersive atmosphere, surrounded by nearly 40,000 fans.

Unlike the worldwide theatrical hit Rite Here Rite Now (2024), 2 Big To Rig is entirely focused on Ghost’s live experience. From exclusive behind-the-scenes footage revealing the crew and technical team responsible for bringing the band’s elaborate stage production to life each night, to the only professionally filmed performance footage of Papa V Perpetua and the Nameless Ghouls from the band’s phone-free Skeletour World Tour, the film serves as the definitive document of one of Ghost’s most ambitious tours to date.

The title, 2 Big To Rig, references the band’s decision to conclude the Skeletour after 70 performances across North America, Europe, and Mexico in February 2026. At the same time, the film was created to give fans in countries the tour could not reach—due to the scale and logistical demands of the production—the opportunity to experience the show. It also serves those who held tickets for what was originally planned as the first of three Mexico City concerts. That performance was canceled because of illness, leaving only two shows to take place.

2 Big To Rig is ultimately a love letter to everyone who has experienced the Ghost ritual—whether in person or from afar.
