“Fresse auf!” – the new song from ALARMSIGNAL

With “Fresse Auf!”, Alarmsignal delivers a furious and defiant track that doesn’t beat around the bush. Driven by direct language and an uncompromising attitude, the track takes aim at indifference, injustice, and right-wing populism. Steff explains: “To leave enough room for our own interpretation, we like to sing between the lines sometimes. But there are days when you write songs and—depending on the situation, amid societal coarsening, political frustration, and pent-up anger—you feel the need to vent unvarnished, direct, and unfiltered, to let off steam, and in doing so, somehow motivate yourself and everyone around you to speak up.”

“Fresse auf!” describes a present in which backward-looking and reckless behavior is the order of the day, repeatedly makes it clear that silence is not an option, and motivates people to continue taking a stand, daring to speak out, and making themselves visible. Bulli adds: “The call to speak up and take to the streets isn’t new—but it’s one that, unfortunately, must be repeated time and again. The time is now! We rage, we scream in response to silence.”
