FARGO re-issue the first four albums

Fargo belong to the trailblazers when it comes to German hard rock. Founded in Hanover in 1973 the band released four longplayers. ‘Wishing Well’ is the title of the 1979 debut album and three more records followed this successful start. ‘No Limit’, ‘Frontpage Lover’ and ‘F’ are three smashing albums that sank into oblivion until now.

And not only that the album shows great hard rocking music; it is also the list of involved musicians with renown names. First and foremost, to mention are Peter ‘Fargo-Pdda’ Knorn and Peter Ladwig, being driving force up to date. Next to these two guys Scorpions guitarist Matthias Jabs was part of the line-up for a few months and not to forget guys like Charlie Huhn, Tommy Newton and Bernie van der Graaf.

In the second half of the 80s Fargo became Victory which didn’t impact the winning strike in a negative way. Victory released with ‘Don’t get Mad … Get Even‘ and ‘Hungry Hearts’ longplayers that still belong to the best German hard rock delivered.

Since 2016 Fargo are active again and released two additional longplayers of which the latest is entitle ‘Stranger D’Amour’.

To build on this momentum, Steamhammer/SPV will release the first four albums bundle comes with four CDs in a slip sleeve and four black vinyls, each in a slip sleeve, also including photos and liner notes.
