A period of four years without a new release from Mastodon comes to an end. The band announced a new longplayer called ‘Hushed and Grim’ that will follow the 2017 album ‘Emperor of Sand’.
Longplayer, in this case it is exactly what the word indicates. The new album comes with a 15 songs tracklist that is spread out over two CDs and a double vinyl version. Release date of the new will be October 29th and the record comes via Reprise Records.
Next to the new album, Mastodon announced five live dates for 2022:
