Review CRISIX ‘The Pizza EP’ – EP

What are your weekend plans? Beer, pizza and football? Sounds like a plan and from September on, pizza could become another meaning too. Spanish thrash metal enthusiasts Crisix have a new release in the pipeline, ‘The Pizza EP’. The good thing, this pizza is 100% calorie free and even better, since the five songs are an invitation for moshing and jumping around, things are even more beneficial.

But jokes aside. Crisix unleash with ‘The Pizza EP’ a wild thrash metal attack that is built on fun and passion for oldschool thrash metal. Extra spicy and hot, that’s what the opener ‘No Tip for the Kid’ offers right away, a great starter into this EP.

I think we can all agree that the ‘World Needs Mosh’ before the ‘Raptors in the Kitchen’ burn down the house in less than one minute. ‘It’s Tough to Cook a Song’ has no foot on the brake either. In contrary. With freight-train power the song crushes everything that’s in the way.

Crisix and ‘The Pizza EP’, that is a furious thrash metal and crossover release, not very innovative, but for sure with the extra portion of dedication. A musical pepperoni that lasts longer than just for one moment.
