British heavy metal legends Saxon are back with Gods of Thunder—their new studio album, which explores themes such as history, fantasy, horror, ancient mythology, pagan rites, and the enduring spirit of rock ’n’ roll, and is set for release on January 22, 2027.
To promote this new masterpiece, the pioneers of NWOHBM will thrill their fans with outstanding, rousing shows. Saxon is like a fine red wine—the older, the better.
On the Gods Of Thunder Tour, the band will not only play songs from their new self-titled album but also their well-known classics and fan favorites. Confirmed shows include Hamburg (March 3, Große Freiheit 36), Erfurt (March 10, Central), Nuremberg (March 14, Löwensaal), Stuttgart (March 16, Im Wizemann), Munich (March 20, Kesselhaus), Berlin (March 22, Huxleys Neue Welt), and Cologne (March 23, E-Werk).
