What began on July 13, 2001, in Eislingen an der Fils with their very first performance is today one of Germany’s most enduring, successful, and at the same time most likable punk rock institutions.
With boundless energy, plenty of humor, and an unmistakable knack for great melodies, Itchy worked their way up from their first youth center concerts to the big stages across Europe.
Just in time for the band’s 25th anniversary, the red carpet is now being rolled out for their tenth studio album, Happy Little Accidents, which will be released on October 16, 2026, via the band’s own label, Findaway Records.
Album #10 shows that the band views its first quarter-century more as a casual warm-up . Since their formation in 2001, Itchy as stood for high-energy songs with great melodies and a clear stance, and the new album, too, is brimming with a raw sound that straddles punk rock and alternative.
Starting Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., the album will be available for pre-order in various editions through the band’s online store. A first limited-edition pressing has already sold out as subscribers to the band’s newsletter had already received early access to it.
