They’ve been around for over 40 years and are as loud and wild as ever: the hard rock and glam rock legends Faster Pussycat are coming to Germany in September for three shows in Hamburg, Berlin, and Cologne! From the depths of the LA glam rock scene that dominated the mid-’80s, a group of nonconformist youths brought their own brand of outlaw rock to the masses. Not glam, not punk, but somewhere in between, with an attitude and charisma all their own.
Overnight, this motley crew of troublemakers landed a record deal with Elektra Records and released their self-titled debut album in 1987, which featured instant glam rock classics like “Babylon,” “Bathroom Wall,” “Cathouse,” and “Don’t Change That Song.” Never really conforming to mainstream norms, Faster Pussycat toured with artists such as Alice Cooper, Mötley Crüe, David Lee Roth, Motörhead, Whitesnake, Guns N’ Roses, and Kiss.
