To mark their 30th anniversary, Bush are revisiting one of their most iconic songs and releasing “Swallowed (30th Anniversary Tour Version).” Following the success of their latest album “I Beat Loneliness,” which was internationally acclaimed and once again propelled the band to No. 1 on the US Rock Radio Charts, this reinterpretation is being released just in time for the kickoff of their world tour, which includes numerous dates in Germany.
“Swallowed” originally appears on their 1996 album “Razorblade Suitcase” and remains one of the band’s most emotional and haunting songs to this day. Instead of a major overhaul, the band opts here for a stripped-down, open atmosphere that gives the song more space and intimacy. As a result, “Swallowed (30th Anniversary Tour Version)” feels familiar yet fresh at the same time. It’s not a break from the original, but a mature, calm reimagining, grounded in three decades of band history and an intensity that remains as strong as ever.
