Review JADED HEART “Intuition” – EP

German melodic metallers Jaded Heart have released a new EP called “Intuition”. The release contains four songs, but only one of them is new. It is the title track, which is the new moment on this release, and it is a typical Jaded Heart track. Guitars and melodies, both have their fair share and it doesn’t take long to connect with this track.

With “Dance the Night Away” the guys recorded a Europe cover version. It is a Europe cover and it is a warm-up song that the band plays when they start rehearsing. Ghost’s “Square Hammer” also gets a little Jaded Heart touch before “Love is a Killer” follows. It is a live version recorded in November 2022 and ends an EP that might be interesting for fans and collectors.

With the exception of the title track the guys don’t offer anything new and although each of the songs is a nice moment of melodic rock and metal the EP can only be an in-between release for fans waiting for the next studio album.
