Almost 5 years ago, Duff McKagan was on the “Tenderness Tour 2019”. One of the stops on this tour was the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. The tour was to promote the Guns’n’Roses bassist’s sophomore solo album and featured ten of the eleven songs from the album.
The setlist also included songs from bands in which McKagan was/is a member. Two Guns’n’Roses songs (“You Ain’t the First” and “Dead Horse”) were played that night, and the Mad Season days were represented by a song called “River of Deceit”.
What happened back then is now being released as a live album called ‘Tenderness – Live From Los Angeles’. Fans of the iconic musicians will be delighted with this release as it brings an intimate and emotional show to your home. With a fine and organic sound, the album is a soulful yet energetic journey through the musical landscape of Duff McKagan. Release date will be May 31st 2024.
