Review ZARRAZA ‘Kreated in Blood’ – EP

Kazakh thrash metal unit Zarraza is active since 2011 and launched their full-length debut in 2018. Next to the longplayer a few EP’s have been released by the quartet and these days the next one is in the pipeline

‘Kreated in Blood’ is the title of the newest offer by the band and features three songs. The title is an indication of where things are going to. Zarraza recorded three cover versions of thrash metal highlight. As you might assume already, one of these covers is a Kreator song since the ‘k’ in the title is by purpose and not a typo. ‘People of the Lie’ is the chosen title from the German metal force and Zarraza interpret the tune as heavy as the song deserves it.

Furthermore, the EP contains a thundering version of Gojira’s ‘L’Enfant Sauvage’ before the three-track release ends with the Slayer classic ‘Raining Blood’. The latter has already been unveiled and can be watched here: https://youtu.be/JO9lSWruRbA

‘Kreated in Blood’ is a homage to some great metal bands and Zarraza’s interpretation of these classics is a blistering and energetic headbanger’s delight.
