I’m neither a surfer nor do I know the best surfing spots in the planet. I also haven’t heard of Finland being the number one place to be for surfing, but the Nordic country delivers the soundtrack for the trend activity.

Mary Ann Hawkins is a trio, hailing from Finland and what their music can be described as Finnish surf rock. The band has two self-released under their belt and now signed with Svart Records. The first result of this fruitful combination is the self-titled debut album that will see the light of day on May 20^th, 2022.

Mary Ann Hawkins doesn’t go for the loud riffs and the thundering sounds. Instead, fans of well-done rock music with an ease might be interested. This music comes right in time for the sunny summer season when garden parties and the ease of life add a positive note the daily business.
