TYGERS OF PAN TANG released ‘A New Heartbeat’

NWoBHM-veterans Tygers Of Pan Tang unleashed a new EP called ‘A New Heartbeat’. In a way, a new heartbeat is the credo of the 2022 release since the band introduce with Francesco Marras a new guitarist and Huw Holding, a new bass player, while Gav Grey provided the groove for this release.

The EP contains four songs, two known ones and two new tunes. The latter kick-off ‘A New Heartbeat’. The upbeat title track and the solidly rocking ‘Red Mist’ are great rock/metal songs, presenting the bands roots in the NWoBHM.

Tygers Of Pan Tang premiered in 1980 with ‘Wild Cat’. Bandleader Robb Weir is still a driving force today and two songs of the genre-influencing debut are a part of ‘A New Heartbeat’. The re-recorded versions of ‘Fireclown’ and Killers’ prove that the Tygers are still roaring today.

‘A New Heartbeat’ is a vivid and dynamic EP. These songs transport a lot of rock and metal spirit and showcase a band that is still driven by the passion for their music.
