HEAVEN SHALL BURN announce vinyl re-issue of ‘Deaf to Our Prayers’

15 years ago, German metalcore icons Heaven Shall Burn released with ‘Deaf to Our Prayers’ their fourth full-length longplayer. Such an anniversary is reason enough for the quintet to re-release this timeless classic as vinyl.

Release date will be March 4^th, 2022 and the album went through a remastering, done by Heaven Shall Burn guitarist Alexander Dietz.

The band states, “After the international success of ‘Antigone’, for the first time we felt something like pressure from expectation while working on the new record. We all were very busy with our school and studies at that time. Yet Alex had already integrated himself very well into the band and immediately took on an important role in the pre-production and recording.
Although the expectations of labels and fans were quite high, we were not aware of how important DTOP should be in retrospect.
Songs from DTOP are an indispensable part of an HSB live show today and the opener ‘Counterweight’ is an example of the musical influences and the attitude of the band. We are still very proud of the record and hope you have as much fun with the great gatefold vinyl as we do!“
