German prog rock outfit Subsignal will start work on a new album soon. ‘A Room on the Edge of Forever’ is song from the writing session for their sixth offer and has as been revealed already. The song is based on a poem Markus Steffen wrote, originally in German language. Poem as well as song address the topic of being left alone and loss, in a way related to what many people experienced during the last 18 months. It’s a melancholic song but also with a ray of hope included.
