For 28 years now, German folk metal band Schandmaul have been bringing the magic of the Middle Ages together with the sound of the present. While their early days with Wahre Helden were still a relatively modest affair, the band steadily grew over the years. Several of their eleven albums have made it into the Top 10 of the German album charts, while their fanbase has continued to expand in Austria and Switzerland as well.
Today, Schandmaul release their latest album, Sternensegler. Featuring eleven new songs, the band continues its journey through the many musical worlds inspired by the Middle Ages. The album also marks the first Schandmaul record to feature Till Herence behind the microphone, stepping in for Thomas Lindner, who had to leave the band due to health reasons.
