With Slay | Kill | Erase, set for release on October 9, 2026, via Supreme Chaos Records, Thronehammer presents their most ambitious work to date. Eight songs with a total running time of 74 minutes consistently continue down the path they’ve set out on and delve even deeper into atmospheric and post-rock soundscapes, without losing the overwhelming intensity that defines the band’s core. Guest vocals by Max Hemmann (Motorowl) lend the album additional emotional depth and reveal new facets of the Thronehammer universe.

Perhaps the label “doom metal” has simply become too narrow to describe what Thronehammer is today. What remains is the band’s unmistakable ability to transform crushing heaviness, ghostly beauty, and cinematic vastness into music that feels timeless, immersive, and entirely unique.
