FULL METAL MAYRHOFEN will once again rock the mountains and valleys in 2027

Following two successful editions, FULL METAL MAYRHOFEN will return to Austria’s Zillertal region from March 29 to April 3, 2027. Set against the backdrop of snow-covered peaks, traditional mountain huts, and the Alpine scenery surrounding Mayrhofen, the festival once again combines live metal performances with winter sports and a mountain holiday experience. Advance ticket sales are now open.

During the previous editions, thousands of metal fans from around the world gathered in Mayrhofen, with concerts, skiing, snowboarding, and après-ski activities taking place throughout the week. The festival extends beyond the concert venues, with much of the town becoming part of the overall event. Live performances, a lively atmosphere, and the interaction between artists and fans have helped establish FULL METAL MAYRHOFEN as a distinctive event on the European festival calendar.

The first bands for the next edition have already been confirmed: Folk metal heroes Feuerschwanz and heavy metal legends U.D.O. will kick off the lineup with a bang, a fact further reinforced by the announcement of the New Jersey crossover band Dog Eat Dog and the Italian symphonic power metal band Rhapsody Of Fire.
