GRAMMY® Award-nominated U.S. metal icons Sevendust are releasing another preview of their 15th studio album, “One,” with the powerful new single “Threshold.” The album is set to be released on May 1, 2026, via Napalm Records.
The band, consisting of Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Clint Lowery (guitar), John Connolly (guitar), Vince Hornsby (bass), and Morgan Rose (drums), once again delivers a rousing, emotionally charged track that’s made for the stage. “Threshold” highlights Sevendust’s signature blend of heavy grooves, melodic intensity, and motivational lyrics. Witherspoon stirs up raw emotion as he addresses those who push others to their limits: “You want another piece of me, don’t ya? To break apart so you get what you wanted?”
For the accompanying music video, Sevendust has once again collaborated with animator Ollie Jones to continue the story from “Fence.” A greedy music agent forces the management team to dig up the band’s decaying members and send them back on tour. With the mysterious substance that brought them back, Sevendust are reborn—ready to rock the audience and line the agent’s pockets. The video ends with the band completely under his control… How the story ends remains open-ended and is left for fans to imagine.
