The Uwe Lulis Project was formed in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, emerging from the creative stagnation of the lockdown. Guitarist Uwe Lulis (Accept/Grave Digger/Rebellion) used this period to devote himself fully once again to his own songs. After leaving Accept in 2025, the project finally took center stage.
Together with Erdmann Görg (vocals), Cord Kunze (bass), and Katharina “Knattadrum” Kunnert (drums/piano), a band formed in the Frankfurt area (Germany) that stands for handmade rock and metal music with a clear attitude: powerful, direct, and uncompromising. Musically, the project moves between rock and metal, often described as Rock 2.0.
The debut album “Analog” is set to be released on May 29, 2026, and makes a deliberate statement: to bring sophisticated rock into the 21st century—produced entirely analog. No AI, real drums, real performance. “Analog” stands for a clear return to handmade music. The sound deliberately allows for rough edges, which is precisely what makes it vibrant and authentic. Produced by Uwe Lulis himself, the album thrives on controlled imperfection. It rocks.
