THE PRETTY RECKLESS – new album, new song and tour dates

The multi-platinum rock band The Pretty Reckless has released the official music video for their new single, “When I Wake Up.” The video was directed by lead singer Taylor Momsen herself, alongside Chris Acosta. In POV style, Taylor takes her audience on a wild, nighttime rock ‘n’ roll trip, encountering several familiar faces along the way, including Foo Fighters musicians Pat Smear and Ilan Rubin, as well as former “Gossip Girl” castmates Jessica Szohr and Connor Paolo.

Taylor explains: “l wanted the video to reflect where the song came from – a time in my life when I was out of control, not caring whether I lived or died. We shot it raw, with no grade, no filter. Reality doesn’t come color-corrected, and I didn’t want to change what we captured. The imperfection is the grade. This is where life can take you when you play too close to the edge, chasing substances, sex, and dopamine highs to escape depression. It led me down a rabbit hole of self-destruction that leaves you emptier than where you began…with all that being said..enjoy “

When I Wake Up” is the second single from the upcoming fifth studio album, “Dear God”, which is set to be released on June 26, 2026, via Fearless Records. The 14-track album also includes the 2025 chart-topping single “For I Am Death,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, among others.
