US rock band P.O.D. releases the official video for “Don’t Let Me Down” today – a cover version of the Beatles classic. The release coincides with an important anniversary: December 5, 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of the last time the Beatles performed live in their hometown of Liverpool.
On December 5, 1965, the Beatles took to the stage twice at the Liverpool Empire Theatre, giving their last concerts in the city. The shows were part of their 1965 UK tour, which ended a week later. With the release of their video, P.O.D. pays tribute today to the enduring legacy of The Beatles – celebrating the music, milestones, and timeless influence that the legends from Liverpool continue to have on generations of musicians and fans.
The video for “Don’t Let Me Down” showcases the Southtown icons’ signature energy while paying homage to one of the Fab Four’s most beloved songs. It offers a small taste of what their Latin American fans can expect. You can watch the video here: https://youtu.be/P4xSHoaHE74?si=fd36cjb5TgFF6xQx
