Even after more than three decades since the release of their legendary debut album “Burn My Eyes,” Californian metal giants Machine Head remain one of the most vital and successful bands in the history of global thrash metal. Stylistically always at the cutting edge, yet significantly independent and therefore absolutely timeless, the quartet played their way into the hearts and the top star league of the global metal community with their very first album, despite their uncompromising, massively rumbling sound aesthetic – and have maintained this prominent status with every subsequent album since then. This is particularly true in this country, as their current 11th album, “Unatøned,” released last April, climbed into the top ten of the German album charts, just like its four predecessors. After playing only one club show in Germany during their last European tour in 2024, which sold out in no time, the band is now offering their long-time fans the full treatment on their upcoming tour: Between April 13 and May 8, 2026, they will be coming to us for eight concerts in Hamburg, Berlin, Zwickau, Munich, Saarbrücken, Ludwigsburg, Wiesbaden, and Cologne – without special guests, a whole evening with just Machine Head.
