TARJA announced “Score for a Dark Christmas” and tour dates

It’s mid-November. The darker season of the year is in full swing, and Christmas is just around the corner. The time is right for Tarja to continue her Christmas-themed musical journey with an album called “Score for a Dark Christmas.” The album will be released on December 5, 2025, via earMUSIC and it connects to the 2017 release “From Spirits and Ghosts (Score for a Dark Christmas)” and the 2023 album “Dark Christmas.”

“Score for a Dark Christmas” will be available in various formats. While the CD/vinyl version builds on the tracklist of previous Christmas albums, the Blu-ray also includes “Tarja Turunen & Harus — In Concert (Live at Sibelius Hall),” music videos, behind-the-scenes footage, and more.

Fans of Tarja, people annoyed by the usual Christmas carols, and anyone looking to give Christmas a dark vibe will find what they’re looking for on “Score for a Dark Christmas.”
