ROYAL REPUBLIC continue their Blastbeaters saga with “Stayin’ Alive”

Royal Republic are back with the third single from their Blastbeaters series: “Stayin’ Alive,” a rock version of the legendary disco hit by the Bee Gees.

After “Venus” (Shocking Blue) and “I’m So Excited” (The Pointer Sisters), the four Swedes now tackle the ultimate survival anthem – but without falsetto, instead with lots of guitar power and the unmistakable Royal Republic energy. In short: a little Bee Gees, a lot of Royal Republic.

As with the first two songs, “Stayin’ Alive” is accompanied by a music video that continues the absurd story of The Blastbeaters – a fictional black metal band with corpse paint, an old Volvo, and questionable decisions.
