ALTER BRIDGE – new album and tour in 2026

Even after more than twenty years together, rockers Alter Bridge show no signs of fatigue. Celebrated by critics and fans for their catchy riffs, dueling guitar attacks and infectious vocal melodies, the quartet consisting of frontman Myles Kennedy, guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips are set to continue the trend with their eighth album, released via Napalm Records. Alter Bridge will be released on January 9, 2026.

Alter Bridge comes with twelve new songs, including some of the most iconic recordings in the band’s history. Songs like “Rue the Day”, ‘Disregard’ and “Scales Are Falling” fit seamlessly into the Alter Bridge discography. In “Trust in Me”, Myles and Mark share the vocals – Myles takes on the verses while Mark devotes himself to the chorus. They swap this approach in “Tested and Able”, in which Mark sings the verses and Myles takes on the strong chorus – all of which follows one of the heaviest intros in the band’s history, paving the way for an unforgettable melody. With its references to earlier hits, “Hang by a Thread” is poised to become the next fan favorite. The closing track “Slave to Master” is one of the epic songs Alter Bridge are known for, and also the longest track the quartet have recorded in their career.

For their eighth album, the band once again worked with their long-time producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette. Alter Bridge was recorded over two months last spring at the legendary 5150 Studio in California and Elvis’ studio in Florida.
