Enter Shikari has been on a longer tour called ‘A Kiss for the Whole World: UK & EU 2024’ in early 2024. The road trip included a show in Hamburg (see live report), as well as a concert at the OVO Arena Wembley in London. London, UK. The latter was recorded and will be released on 11 July 2025. For fans who couldn’t attend one of the band’s concerts, the new live album offers a great opportunity to experience the intensity of Enter Shikari in a live setting.
The Wembley Arena show was the final one of the UK leg of the tour, before the band travelled further for shows in Europe. It was the biggest headliner show the band had played to date, and the live release captures the atmosphere pretty well.
The band performed a long setlist featuring songs from all of Enter Shikari’s albums. Four songs from the debut album are included on the live album, as well as several tracks from the latest studio release, ‘A Kiss for the Whole World’. Six songs from the album made it onto the setlist, seamlessly connecting with the older material of the British rockers.
Similar to the Hamburg show, Rou also performed three songs surrounded by enthusiastic fans in the middle of the audience, and two guests joined the band on stage as an extra. Fever 333 joined Enter Shikari on tour, and it was their frontman, Jason Butler, who came on stage during ‘Losing My Grip’, giving the song an extra boost. Moreover, it was ESC participant Sam Ryder who lent his vocal talents to the track ‘satellite**’. His appearance was a special moment during the London show.
Enter Shikari have had a very successful year, and the Wembley show was a special moment in their tour. The recording captures the essence of a live performance, conveying the intense energy of the show in a professional manner. Whether it’s the soulful moments, such as during ‘the pressure’s on’, or the thunderous ‘It Hurts’, the album captures the live atmosphere and that’s the essence of a live album.
