It’s been a while since new material from Polish metal forerunners Vader delighted fans. In 2020, Vader released “Solitude in Madness,” and after a couple of live albums, the band returns with an EP called “Humanihility.” Vader is launching new songs, and Mauser is returning to the band.
The new EP features three songs and represents the variety of Vader. The band opens with “Genocide Designed,” kicking things off with a fierce start that shatters expectations. Instead of fretboard gymnastics, the song delivers a pulverizing opening that sets the bar high for the rest of the release. We are facing a merciless opener that brings you to “Rampage”. “Genocide Designed” is a raging beginning, but “Rampage” is even more intense. It’s a blazing fast thrash/death metal blast that hits you like a sonic wrecking ball.
“Unbending” shows a slightly different approach. The pulsating metal track in a more moderate pace shows the band’s ability to interpret their sound in 2025.
The Vader release titled “Humanihility” masterfully fuses all phases of the artist, generating significant anticipation for their next full-length release.
