METALLICA release “Load (Remastered)” today

Metallica have l the re-release of their five-times platinum sixth studio album “Load”, which will be released on June 13 via the band’s own Blackened Recordings label.

Remastered by Reuben Cohen at Lurssen Mastering under the supervision of Greg Fidelman, the “Load Remastered Limited Edition Deluxe Box Set” is now available and full details of the box set and track listing can also be found. at Metallica.com

“Load (Remastered)” will be released in multiple formats, including standard 180g 2LP, CD, cassette and digital (including a spatial audio mix with Atmos).

“Load”was originally released on June 4, 1996 and was the second Metallica album to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200, where it remained for four consecutive weeks. The recording of “Load” (as well as 1997’s “ReLoad”) took place in 1995 at The Plant in Sausalito, California, where James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Jason Newsted created another milestone in Metallica’s discography. Currently, two of the four singles from “Load” – “Until It Sleeps” and “King Nothing” – are thrilling audiences worldwide in regular rotation on the band’s “M72 World Tour” setlists.
