Review BLAST BOMB “Explosive Sounds” – EP

Blast Bomb has released a new EP called “Explosive Sounds” and what you get is for sure explosive music forged by the Hamburg heavyweights. A few singles have already been presented and now it’s time for the entire 5-track release, which is available digitally and on CD.

Motivated by the positive reception of the “Rock’n’Roll Junkie”, the quintet worked on new material, resulting in five energetic rock songs, played with a punk attitude.

“Hammer Blow” is the opener, a song that reflects the band’s approach to music. A heavy pounding beat, uncompromising power and a dirty rock’n’roll spirit hits you right in the face. Great song, great start.

“21:47” is next and Blast Bomb stick to their trademarks. There is no foot on the brake and the special thing about this song is that “21:47” was mastered at the Abbey Studios in London, which is quite a reference. “Payback” is another musical blast, leading into “Blow Smoke” with its roaring guitars and grooving bass before “Inside My Head” provides a thunderous finale.

Blast Bomb’s new EP is a raw and untamed example of the greatness of rock music. Dirty and with a street approach, Blast Bomb recorded an EP that reflects a blood, sweat and tears approach. This music is real and comes straight from the heart.
