Norwegian heavy metal powerhouse Sahg has a new EP in the starting blocks. ‚Live Demons‘ is the title of a release that features, as not expected differently, four live songs. To celebrate the birthday of their sixth studio album ‚Born Demon‘ Sahg placed four tracks of the latest studio album on this EP.
The songs have been recorded on October 21st, 2022, when the band played a show in Bergen, Norway. It was a homegame concert for Sahg and also the night of the album release.
‚Fall Into the Fire‘ is the first song of the EP and the beginning of an authentic live release. The crowd is present and the music speaks für itself.
The thundering ‚House of Worship‘ is part of this release and a highlight in thr Sahg discography. What more? The doomy ‚Black Cross on the Moon‘ with ist Sabbathian-riffing is song number three before ‚Heksedans‘ heralds the end of the EP.
Collectors will appreciate this release as it is a well-done addition to the offering of Sahg. ‚Live Demons‘ is a also a good way to bridge the wait until we can welcome s next studio album. Not more, but certainly also not less.
