We will see how many presents will be under the Christmas tree this year. What shortens the waiting time until this question is answered a bit, is listening to a new EP from Stallion.
Stallion, that is swabian heavy metal power with the performance of a Porsche engine. After having released their third album earlier this year with ‘Slaves of Time’, the guys put a nice Christmas CD called ‘Christmatized’ on the (Christmas-) market.
All of a sudden, the otherwise so festive Christmas songs become fun, even if it probably knocks your mother-in-law off the chair on Christmas Eve. Christmas in leather and denim, that’s what this release brings to the spot in four songs.
Everything starts with ‘Santa (Can You Hear Me)’, a flawless heavy metal song. And what could be more obvious than covering with ‘No Presents For Christmas’ one of the King Diamond classics. Pauly’s vocals fit perfectly and should make the song also interesting for those who usually have trouble with the falcett singing.
Thereafter the Christmas classics have to be metalized. ‘Christmatized’ is a medley of three carols before ‘Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!’ ends the series. If you’re fed up with the typical Christmas tam-tam, you can easily consider ‘Christmatized’ as your holiday soundtrack (100% ‘Last Christmas’-free).
