The German sound architects Long Distance Calling have just announced a new album, “The Phantom Void”. It will be released on 10 April 2026 through earMUSIC.

The song showcases the band’s signature sound, featuring intricate soundscapes and thunderous moments that contrast with the soulfully calm sections. Not to be overlooked is the fabulous piano outro that brings the song to a close in grand style.
Combined with an amazing video, this first preview of the album is incredibly intense, and we can look forward to a new, thrilling chapter from Long Distance Calling. On the subject of chapters; the album addresses nightmares, repetition and the uncomfortable feeling of an invisible threat. The video visualises this well, and more chapters will follow.
