Last Friday saw the release of “Songs for the Haunted,” the first Ritual album in 14 years! The atmospheric single “Sleeping Ghosts” is the latest preview from the new album by the North Rhine-Westphalia hardcore band.
With “Sleeping Ghosts,” they depart from the familiar paths of their hardcore rock sound, as heard in parts of the previously released singles, and present a post-hardcore sound reminiscent of early Deftones, Cult of Luna, or Quicksand with its harmonious sophistication and dynamic sluggishness.
