If a band is already four decades in business the guys must do something right. German melodic rockers Mad Max belong to this group of longtime-experts in their field. CD review AVATAR ‘Hunter Gatherer’

The cinematic 'Wormhole' is the grande finale of an album that stands for a next step in the rise of Avatar. Heavy, modern, dynamic, innovative and with twists, that's Avatar's sound and the execute it in perfection on 'Hunter Gatherer'. Creativity seems to be a never-ending flow when it comes to the five guys from Sweden and bundling this flow in ten songs enforces the music even more. 'Infernus Sinfonica MMXIX' is a release fans of Septicflesh will appreciate and if you are lacking a certain vibe of live shows, it might be a bit of a cure too. And last but not least, it's the enthusiastic Mexican Metal audience that shows why nothing can compensate for not existing live shows.

CD review ZOMBI ‘2020’

...you should give this album a chance. It's music that is far away from harsh riffs, aggressive rhythms and loud vocal screams. '2020' is a mindfully crafted musical adventure that blossoms by closing the eyes. It takes you to a world outside reality, at least for 39 minutes, and then there's still a 'Repeat'-button.

CD review PRIMAL FEAR ‘Metal Commando’

This ’metal commando’ is not intended to take prisoners. This album, with its 11 Metal bullets, hit bulls eye constantly and if you have been a fan of Primal Fear’s dynamic and powerful Metal in the past, the new album will be appreciated. Furious guitars and a strong groove, combined with a great sense for melodies makes this record to a delight for headbangers. Horns up.

CD review IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT ‘Alphaville’

Imperial Triumphant certainly leave nothing to coincidence. There are sound enthusiasts at work who are highly committed to their musical vision with no compromises. 'Alphaville' with its ecstasy is certainly interesting for a smaller group of metalheads. The majority, however, will listen with open eyes and dropping jaws to the sound this album brings to the fore. Are you willing to take the challenge?
