CD review THE OFFSPRING ‘Let the Bad Times Roll’
A band, that wrote one of the hymns of my youth is The Offspring. I don't know how often I listened to 'Self Esteem' and its iconic beginning. The songs had been played so often when we kids went out on the baseball field for circling the bases. That was in the '90s. In the... Continue Reading →

CD review BLAST BOMB ‘Live & Explosive in the UK’
Blast Bomb stands for dirty and down-to-earth rock, spiced up with a strong pinch of a punk attitude. The first time I heard of Blast Bomb was when they opened for Life Of Agony last year in Hamburg. Due to a relatively late announcement as support and an early stage time, the guys had to... Continue Reading →
CD review SLIME ‘Wem gehört die Angst’
In days with a world that's thrown out of kilter, bands like Slime are like musical call for action. Although commercially more successful than in the '80s and in general more mature than in the early days, the band is still authentic, stick to their mindset and is never tired of holding up a mirror to society.
CD review PETER AND THE TEST TUBE BABIES ‘Fuctifano’
With 'Queen of Fucking Everything' the end of the album comes far too early. Fortunately there is a 'Start'-button that you can press again and I can assure you that you will use this button after running through the album for a first time. Peter And The Test Tube Babies in 2020 go strong. Peter and Del might got older but certainly not calmer. These guys still breathe the spirit of Punk Rock.
