Hamburg's Metal veterans Black Hawk deliver with 'Destination Hell' an album that isn't polished neither it's over-produced. It has a solid sound and a lot of edges. The ten songs might not bring that much new to the plate. Still they are authentic and real. No frills, some thrills and a lot of passion, that's Black Hawk's new album. If you like traditional Heavy Metal straight from the underground you should give the album a chance.

Already while listening to the record the first time transferred me back in time to days when the band got out of the starting blocks. 'Titans of Creation' has the power of the first three longplayers, using modern production techniques that help to even strengthen this sonic punch. 'Titans of Creation' is raw and unpolished, still benefiting for a well-crafted sound.
‘Rock World’ is like opening a treasure box. The well-selected songs show that greatness of Riot and honors Mark Reale and Riot in a great fashion. Riot is much bigger than what any sales figures ever showed and this rarity collection underlines the importance of Riot for Heavy Metal.
Bonfire is more and more finding back to old strength and 'Fistful of Fire' can compete with the ‘Point Blank’-days, something I truly doubted during the last decades. 'Fistful of Fire' showcases a band that's on fire. Check it out.

It's a good to have Wolf back after 6 years of absence. 'Feeding the Machine' features songs that have a punch. Traditional Heavy Metal, transformed into the '20s should sound exactly like what you get with this album. Good stuff.
With Villagers Of Ionnia City, Sulphur Aeon and Indian Nightmare, three bands have been confirmed today for the 2020 edition of Rock Hard festival.
