The cinematic 'Wormhole' is the grande finale of an album that stands for a next step in the rise of Avatar. Heavy, modern, dynamic, innovative and with twists, that's Avatar's sound and the execute it in perfection on 'Hunter Gatherer'. Creativity seems to be a never-ending flow when it comes to the five guys from Sweden and bundling this flow in ten songs enforces the music even more. 'Hunter Gatherer', an album that entertains for a long time.
Imperial Triumphant certainly leave nothing to coincidence. There are sound enthusiasts at work who are highly committed to their musical vision with no compromises. 'Alphaville' with its ecstasy is certainly interesting for a smaller group of metalheads. The majority, however, will listen with open eyes and dropping jaws to the sound this album brings to the fore. Are you willing to take the challenge?
If you don't have 'Veil of Imagination' on your prog metal radar yet, you should see a bright shining new dot on your radar display by now. What these five guys from Boston deliver is definitely impressive. Bombastic Pogg Metal with high density, varied and excitingly performed, that is what makes this album stand out. For sure a highlight 2020 and certainly interesting for fans of bands like Opeth and Devon Townsend.

'Sudden Death' isn't deadly. On the contrary. Horisont's new album is vital and alive from start to finish. It exudes a lightness that makes it easy for the fans of well-crafted rock music to listen to the album. At the same time Horisont manage to ensure a long term listening experience through multi-layering and with every new round on your recordplayer new details appear.
