Friday starts with a new PRIMAL FEAR video

Primal Fear will release their highly anticipated 13th studio album, „Metal Commando“ on July 24th. The title of the album is self-explainatory - „Metal Commando“ contains 110% Primal Fear and is full to the brim with their signature power and energy. Last month, the band released the first single 'Along Came The Devil’. Today, the second single 'I Am Alive'... Continue Reading →

CD review MADHOUSE ‘Braindead’

Madhouse from Hamburg are a metal band which was already active in the late '80s. However, you can't find more than a few demos and local achievements in the metal archives with the year of 1991 being the definite end. It got quiet in madhouse. 23 years later the door to the madhouse was opened... Continue Reading →

CD review ANCILLOTTI ‘Hell on Earth’

The first time my attention was directed towards Anchillotti was when the band performed at the Heavy Metal Maniacs festival 2015 in The Netherlands. With their traditional heavy metal the four Italians knew how to impress the audience. At that time the guys had just released their debut 'The Chain Goes On' and everything still... CD review OZ ‘Forced Commandments’

OZ show with ''Forced Commandments'' that they aren't on the shelf yet and that Swedish steel doesn't rust that easily. The spirit of denim and leather, that what this album is about. Not more, but certainly also not less.

CD review TYRANT (U.S.) ‘Hereafter’

Gus G. and Firewind have been in the business for 20 years now and after such a long time the guys release a self-titled new album, a new treat of melodic metal. 'Firewind' is like a kind of new beginning, considering the fact that long time member Bob Katsionis left the band and Henning Basse... Continue Reading →

CD review HAVOK ‘V’

'V' is a milestone album for the Colorado-based thrashers and it's on of the best thrash metal releases in years. What a pity that live shows are cancelled at the moment since I would love to see the band performing these songs live onstage. Two thumbs up.
