My World of Music – est. 2013
No Remorse Records shows again their good sense for stellar heavy metal bands. Eternal Champion inked a deal with the label a few years ago, with a first split album, having been released in 2015. The debut ‘The Armor of Ire’ followed a year later and now the time is right for bringing some more... Continue Reading →
Killer Be Killed released their debut album in 2014 and received a lot of positive feedback. Well, this has also to do with the fact that Killer Be Killed are well-known faces in metal who came together in a new constellation. Killer Be Killed are Max Cavalera, Greg Puciato, Troy Sanders and Ben Koller. All... Continue Reading →
Thrash metal in Germany, that's many ambitious bands from the early days and some being newcomers. What units them is the unbound dedication to this furious version of heavy metal. The ignition that helped to establish thrash metal from Germany happened in the early '80s, with the Ruhrgebiet being one of the epicenters. Bands like... Continue Reading →
Hellwig and Hjelvik should not be mixed up. While the first have been present in German volkmusic for decades, it is Hjelvik who interprets Folk Music in a much different way. But step by step. Erlend Hjelvik was front man of Kvelertak for many years before he left the band in 2018 to start something... Continue Reading →

The guys started their metal adventure in 2013 and after a couple of demos and singles, it was Triple-B Records that released the band’s first album. The record and the positive reception created... Two releases from My Dying Bride in one year is a rare thing. 2020 with all its weirdness, is such a year and after having unleashed the doom monster ‘The Ghost of Orion’ in March, the year ends with an EP named ‘Macabre Cabaret’. Being a perfect fit into the dark season of autumn and... Continue Reading →
It was 40 years ago that a group of young metal heads from Stourbridge, England released a debut album that was recorded in seven days and came without frills and decoration. Without getting full support, the album didn’t get the attention music and songs deserved. ‘Lightning to the Nations’, so the title of Diamond Head’s... Continue Reading →
The waiting time for 'Manifesto' cannot be described as short, as it was in 2014 that the guys released their latest studio album to date. 'Burial Ground' was released six years ago and with the exception of a live release in 2017 it became rather quiet. Now, the death metal protagonists are returning with 'Manifesto'.... Live albums gain momentum these days and I don't think that that anybody is surprised. This time, it's Sci-Fi trashers Voivod that have a live release in the starting box, bringing a live show to your home that took place in Québec City, Canada on July 13th, 2019. 'Lost Machine - Live' is Voivod's first... Continue Reading →

Stan Bush is certainly no stranger to rock and AOR, as Bush has had his great moments and worked with such greats as Jim Vallance and Paul Stanley. With 'Dare to Dream' the singer releases his new album, packed with catchy rockers that can best be described with the song 'The 80's'. I have to... Continue Reading →
Even if the focus on Friday the 13th is certainly on AC/DC, we should not forget that more new albums will hit the shelves of record stores on that day. In this case, it is even an Australian band. Thrashers Harlott are releasing with ' Detritus of the Final Age' their so far fourth album... Continue Reading →
In late summer this year, prog thrash veterans Anacrusis released with 'An Evening With Anacrusis - Live at Delmar Hall 2019' a live album you shouldn't miss. Although having released only excellent metal to date, Anacrusis is still one of the most underrated bands. Already the debut 'Suffering Hour' is more than just a first... Continue Reading →
Time is flying these days and many moments pass by everyday, some with impact.
