Björn Strid and his crew of The Night Flight Orchestra started again the engines of the classic rock airplane and embarked on an tour through Europe, adding some colours to the grey autumn season. The crew identified the Cultuurpodium Boerderij in Zoetermeer as being a great ‘airport’. The Night Flight Orchestra landed on 25.11. in Zuid-Holland and regale fans of classic rock in a great fashion.
Catchy melodies, great hooks, a powerful rhythm section and a great team work add a lot of musical brightness to the Boerderij and fans of eighties oriented hardrock enjoy rock anthem like ‘Gemini’ and ‘This Time’. The eight-piece band from Sweden is in the meantime more than just a project. It’s a band that obviously has a lot of fun with this kind of music, a great break-out from the frames of their original outfits.
The opener in Zoetermeer was a new band, hailing from Belgium. Black Mirrors is the name of the quartet that nailed down an excellent show too. Great songs, a lot of agility on stage and psychedelic vibe, that’s Black Mirrors. The band uses every single second of their 40 minutes set in a great way and can gain new fans, for sure.
