Metal Blade re-issues KING DIAMOND classics

Metal Blade Records started in early summer a re-release series of King Diamond classics. From ‘Fatal Portrait’ to ‘Abigail II – The Revenge’, vinyl versions have been launched already or will see the light of day within the coming weeks.

The re-issues are done as an exclusive edition on 180gr. vinyl and come as pic discs. I had the legendary ‘In Concert 1987: Abigail’ in my postbox the other day and listening to the album felt like an immediate time warp back to the end of the eighties when records like ‘Abigail’ and ‘Them’ impressed the metal community. Enriched by Merciful Fate classics like ‘Come to the Sabbath’ the album is a must for any metal collection and here is the chance to close a potential gap. Great live album – no doubt.
