(7/10) To bridge the waiting time to the next album, London-based The Osiris Club worked on an EP, entitled ‘Island of Stone’. Three songs made it on this release and it’s the title track that opens this 15 minutes minidisc. The songs, telling the strange and surreal story on a fictional Greek island. The song, that comes with a stronger psychedelic vibe also feat. Ulver’s Kristoffer Rygg.
‘Into the Silent Sea’ is an interesting sound collage, done as a remix by Nik Colt Void before the progressive and complex ‘Machinations’ rounds of this EP.
Fans of The Osiris Club will like the EP that features some interesting and atmospheric music – not more, but also not less.
